Bridgestone Ecopia Technology

Bridgestone Ecopia Technology is focused on bringing a new kind of tire to the market and presents innovation in various aspects of driving by improving the performance of traditional tires to meet consumer demands. Current consumers has specific concerns when it comes to driving. With high gas prices and a growing concern for the environment, consumers want tires that perform efficiently while providing a smooth and safe ride. Bridgestone Ecopia Technology developed the necessary innovation, addressing specific in several categories.

When it comes to increasing performance in wet weather conditions, Bridgestone Ecopia Tires Technology utilizes the CO-CS, or Computer Optimized Component System, to configure the combination of materials and construction to output maximum performance. 3-D and Key Hole sipes are designed to create traction in both dry and wet conditions, adjusting over time to create the safest ride possible.  Bridgestone Ecopia Technology has built-in features that effectively drain water from their tires to reduce the risk of hydroplaning in wet driving conditions. Pinhole sipes, circumferential grooves and tapered leading tread elements all work together to flush water from tires to make driving safer in wet conditions. Additionally, flexible materials like silica and stealth block design improve ground contact during wet conditions for added tread.

Bridgestone Ecopia Technology has developed specific features that maximize tire performance in dry conditions. In addition to the features applicable to wet performance, to assist with hugging curves in dry conditions,  Bridgestone Ecopia Technology developed semi-slick shoulder blocks. By implementing an asymmetrical tread design,  Bridgestone Ecopia tires perform optimally in all conditions because their tread patterns are varied from shoulder to shoulder. A continuous center rib was developed to enhance handling by providing steady contact with the center rib.

Furthermore,  Bridgestone Ecopia Technology developed certain aspects to specifically address fuel efficiency in all weather conditions. The computer optimized component system identifies the most fuel-efficient materials and construction.  NanoPro technology controls the way individual materials interact on a molecular level to optimize all of the performance characteristics and use the least fuel possible.  Bridgestone Ecopia Technology uses fuel saver sidewall rubber to effectively save fuel by lowering rolling resistance and bouncing heat back into the tire as opposed to normal sidewalls that do not recycle generated heat.

All of the features of  Bridgestone Ecopia Technology work in unison to create a quiet ride. In addition,  Bridgestone Ecopia Technology has developed a few elements dedicated solely to noise reduction. The veri-pitch tread design is made with varied angles and sizes of the tread elements to specifically reduce road noise. The Silent CSC absorbs noise using tread block design while the 5 degree noise reduction element emits noise-canceling sound waves to further eliminate noise on road surfaces, creating a quiet, smooth ride.

Bridgestone Ecopia Technology has greatly improved on traditional tire designs and components by addressing issues that matter to today's consumer. Bridgestone Ecopia tires are built to optimally in all weather conditions and with Bridgestone Ecopia Technology, are also designed to be fuel-efficient, quiet and provide the safest ride possible.
